Publicize the event - Tell everyone you know.. you are our best advertising- Use this text to send out emails to your friends- to list serves, anyone AND everyone!
"Raise some hell at Ladyfest South, a revolutionary independent women's arts festival, Oct.10-13, 2002, in Atlanta, GA. We're cramming four days full of thought-provoking visual art, spoken word, film, theatre productions and, of course, music - all created and performed by women. Some of the confirmed artists include: Amy Ray & the Butchies, Kittie, Lennon, Alix Olson, Danielle Howle, Ani DiFranco's 'Render', Kt Kilborn's 'Underground TRANSit', Minton Sparks, Giwayen Mata, Cordero, The Hissyfits, Zrazy, The Moto-Litas, C.O.C.O., plus brunch, workshops, & more! Proceeds will benefit two worthy domestic violence shelters in the South - Project Safe in Athens, Ga. and the Refuge House in Tallahassee, Fla.

Volunteer your time.. now or later. Email us at lfs_volunteers@yahoo.com with the EVENT ( ie= Dance Party, the Festival itself, etc..) IN THE SUBJECT LINE & your NAME & PHONE NUMBER in the body.
Join a planning committee and help us organize or help out during the fest in October.
Donate stuff - There's a lot we'll need: money, office supplies, services, prizes for raffles, etc.
Hold a benefit show - If you or someone you know is an artist/musician/poet/film-maker/whatever, you could have a show/slam/screening/whatever and donate all or part of the profits to us. (If you want to plan something, you HAVE TO let us know about it.)
Be a sponsor - More on this later…
Buy an ad in our program - More on this later…
Come to the Fest! - One of the best ways to be involved is to BE THERE!
